GConf keys

Right now, we have a problem with libbonoboui and gnome-app-helper
disagreeing about key names for options.
In libbonoboui, we have:
/desktop/gnome/interface/toolbar-labels
/desktop/gnome/interface/toolbar-detachable
/desktop/gnome/interface/toolbar-relief
/desktop/gnome/interface/menus-have-icons
/desktop/gnome/interface/menus-have-tearoff
/desktop/gnome/interface/menubar-detachable
/desktop/gnome/interface/menubar-relief
In gnomeui, we have:
/desktop/gnome/menus/show-icons"
/desktop/gnome/interface/menus-have-tearoff
/desktop/gnome/interface/menubar-relief
/desktop/gnome/interface/menus-have-tearoff
/desktop/gnome/APPNAME/toolbar-style | /desktop/gnome/toolbars/style
None of these have schema entries, so the result is that whether
you have any of these features, is basically completely random.
We need a volunteer to make these match and also to add schema
entries for all of them to libgnomeui/libgnomeui/libgnomeui.schemas.
The libbonoboui names are obviously more consistent, so switching to
them might make sense, though if we want to have
/desktop/gnome/APPNAME/toolbar-style overriding we need to figure
out how that fits into the naming scheme.
(I don't think it is generally useful, but toolbar-style is a
something where you might legitimiately want it different for
different apps.)
Regards,
Owen
