It seems that the problem fixed in gwmh.c in CVS version.

* gwmh.c (gwmh_task_get_mini_icon): Added a check for NULL
  so that it wouldn't try to get pixmap when the KWM_WIN_ICON
  hint was set to 0x0, 0x0.

I'm not sure because I didn't try CVS yet.
