2 kde games give core dump

I have RH 6.1 with Gnome/Enlightenment.
I have installed the kde support libs, and the kdegames rpm's.
everything looked good until I tried to run them.

the two games kshisen and ksokoban come up briefly -- I can actually see
the playing surface. But they both immediately core dump.

Is there something else I need to install to make them work correctly,
or am I out of luck?
