I'm just answering to some points, since we should probably wait for
Bedhad's point of view. Also, this is just my opinion.

I'm not sure about the copyrights issue, but it is really a complex
problem and laws are not same in every contry...

I don't think there's a policy on any of those three items.

That said, I would not like to see one of my emails removed from the
archives if I don't agree or if there's no really good reason to do
so (in this case, I can't say if there were).

Other people in the GTP might know better than me about the other two
items.

I don't think module maintainers should change translations, except
if it's to fix a build, a crash, a security issue, etc. or if translators
are okay. This is an implicit policy.

I'm not saying Behdad has done something wrong in this case, though,
since he's also a translator.
