I've said this in bug above, but let me repeat:

Hasn't evo already branched for gnome-2-10? I.e. you don't need
approval for HEAD, only for gnome-2-10 (and this's not important
enough to warrant a string freeze break this late). 

So, if evo-hackers don't mind, commit this to HEAD, mark bug as fixed,
and leave it as is for gnome-2-10 branch.
