Getting C# strings from intltool-update

intltool-update does not seem to be acknowledging .cs files. I've tried 
this so far on FreeBSD, OS X, and gentoo. It skips over the .cs files, 
and all the previously translated strings wind up as comments at the 
bottom of the pofile.

Is there a trick to make intltool-update work with C# files?
