	They're not gettext-ized strings - have a look at clock.schemas.in -
its the values in "<locale name="C"><default>..." which get localized.

	I suppose we could have something like

  <default>
    <string type="multipart">
      <part><locale name="C">12</locale></part>
      <part>-hour</part>
    </string>
  </default>

	But, um, I don't think we want to go down that road :-)

	This whole situation sucks, I'm not claiming otherwise ...
