Error in msgmerge on gnome-glossary

Hi,

 
 I tried the commad
msgmerge  -C compendium.po gnome-games.HEAD.ml.po  gnome-games.HEAD.pot -o gnome-glossary.pox

But I got a strange output. In the resulting file, "msgstr" contains some junk
characters. I used the same command for all other po files, but error occurs 
only for gnome-glossary. Is there anything to do special for gnome-glossary?
Or is it something wrong with the command?

Please point me what went wrong.
