GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0 to be released

Hello!

I apologize for using this list for a message about what is no longer a
GNOME application.

GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.0 is about to be released after January 30.

Although this version will not include the GNOME frontend (gmc), GNU
Midnight Commander is still developed on the GNOME CVS (module mc).  The
release will be done from the HEAD branch.

The developers of GNU Midnight Commander tried hard to avoid creating too
much work for the translators.  Most translations need to update mere 10
or 20 strings.  Please try to update the translations by January 30.
