directionality markers

As I prepare Yiddish translations, I have been placing u202b (RIGHT-TO-LEFT
EMBEDDING) at the start of any msgstr that begins with a RTL character (such as
a Yiddish alphabetic character) but ends with a non-RTL character (such as an
Ascii character, including punctuation). Otherwise, the application using the
translation might fail to set the overall directionality of the message to RTL
and the BIDI placement will be wrong.

Is what I am doing accepted practice?
