Btw, does KDE use ngettext and if so, for how long? I must admit I don't
know since I've never translated KDE software. I only know ngettext from
translations in the Translation Project.

Yes, and preferrably using Bugzilla (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/). As
with all other problems, patches are also most welcome, so if you have
the possibility to produce patches and add them to the bug report,
that's also very much appreciated.
