Yes, I saw. But when I looked at the "gedit" directory
I saw totally garbage in pt_BR.po and es.po. 

When I checked out gnome-i18n/sun-po and ran

[fpcj@esdras gedit]$ msgfmt -o /dev/null --sta pt_BR.po 

I got

225 mensagens traduzidas, 224 traduções aproximadas (fuzzy), 40 mensagens
não traduzidas.

Any one knows what is going on?
