String freeze lifted for GNOME 2

Due to a general slippage of schedule the string freeze has been lifted.
The freeze will be effected again _one week_ before the release
candidate. The modified schedule will be posted in the near future.

Also there are issues with glib and positional changes to format strings
that have to be considered, more details to come soon.
