some changes to the arabic shaper to support Unicode-3.2 characters
have been recently accepted to the stable branch of pango in CVS.
This makes me think that similar changes would be accepted for the
Bengali shaper. To get good support for Bengali it might however be
even more important to add shapers for the Xft and FT2 backends since
at the moment only the legacy X font system seems to be supported.
