note about gedit

gedit broke the string freeze; the release team decided to allow this so
that at least one application in gnome 2.0 would be human interface
guide compliant. Paolo is mainly done, but Calum and Seth may still have
a couple of changes to make tomorrow. 

I hope this change and delay doesn't throw anyone off too badly; we hope
that this is the only major string-freeze exception that we'll make.
