What will be the "official" position about use
non-ASCII msgid?
I ask, because gettext-0.11 complains about rhythmbox
messages, it has a multibyte secuence (©) in msgid.
For me, it means that I shouldn't commit a translated
file that no pass 'msgfmt -cv'.
I undertand the © issue, about copyright, and this
msgid is necessary for en_US. But if the tool is not
ready *today* (I haven't seen debian packages, yet),
what will be the policy about that?
Thanks in advance,
