Please don't post a ChangeLog to gnome-announce. It is most annoying to have to read through a ChangeLog trying to work out what your program is and does. No one will bother. The gnome-announce list is for users and hackers, with many users not being gnome hackers and with no idea what a ChageLog is.

An announcement needs to follow the following format:

Application
===========

OSGEdit 0.1.0

Description
===========

Description of what OSGEdit is and does.

Enhancements
============

Enhancements in this version compared with the previous version

Download
========

Download URL where interested people can download your program

My advice is - when you make a release DO NOT CHECK THE "MAKE GNOME ANNOUNCEMENT CHECKBOX" at the bottom of the release page unless you follow the above format. I originally did the same thing and what you get is a meaning less ChangeLog like your announcement. I expect you will get a lot of complaints, I did.

Jeff Franks.
