Desperately late, this is for _last_ week. Will try to get this
week's (today's!) out on time. Ahem. Many apologies.

Actions:

  DONE: Sander to write up details of integrating Sun documentation

  DONE: John to check with Alex re: nautilus UI lockdown
	John absent, but Alex has been posting about this, so we
	presume done.

  PENDING: Add a link to Havoc's gconf documentation page on dotplan.

  PENDING: John to look at what would be involved to get API docs registering
        themselves with Scrollkeeper; and also to bring up gtk-doc
        changes on gtk-doc list.
        This is in process; but it is likely to be post-G2

  PENDING: Jody to look at a gnome-docs package which will include all the
        relevant docs/stuff.

  PENDING: Telsa/Jamin to collate the sort of changelog that Jamin posted
        this time round so that it can be folded into release notes.
        Jamin did this again. Left pending as ongoing for next release.

  PENDING: Jeff to write up thoughts on mentorship.

  NEW: Calum and Jody to look at Glynn's list of UI tweaks.

  NEW: Sander and Luis to write up and circulate bug-sieving explanation
	and rules.

  NEW: Jody and Sander to look at stylesheets required for help
	system and how to ensure everyone has them.

Discussions:
------------

    * 1.4 -> 2.0 release notes:
    We need some :) We can do overall "major changes you will see"
    notes for people, but we need a complete list per module, ideally
    linked from that. Need to ask maintainers for the complete lists.

    * Glynn's UI review team:

    Glynn rang in for this part.
    Glynn has been ploughing through modules with a UI review team.
    Some of the results are trivial little things which improve things
    in consistency; but there are some other things which would require
    code alteration. This is late (after freezes). But it's arisen
    from things docs and translation people spotted whilst documenting
    and translating. We want small "don't change code" things fixed;
    but anything that affects code at all is more iffy. Glynn will
    separate out the low-impact ones and higher impact changes into
    lists which we can then run through. Jody and Calum will do the
    running through.

    * Bug-sieving (again)

    Best way forward certainly seems to be to create tracking bugs
    for keynav, accessibility, usability, i18n. People working on
    those areas can can use those for working out priorities of
    each "sub-bug". All 2.0.0/2.0.1 decisions in triage go through
    Luis. Sander and Luis to write this up and promulgate it so that
    a11y, i18n, docs people know about this and are all happy with it.

    * Window managers

    Sawfish is the window manager on the GNOME 2 modules list on
    dotplan. Metacity is not on that list. It's likely that metacity
    will appear with/for GNOME 2 as a preview release, for those people
    who want to play with it, but Sawfish is the official one for GNOME
    2.0.0.

    * Help system

    Currently help works beautifully on some systems but on others
    when you hit 'help', there is a long wait for the machine to
    find the right stylesheets because if it can't find them locally,
    it looks for them on the net. We need to get the right stylesheets
    onto people's boxes, It would be nice if all the distros did the
    same thing and shipped the same versions of ones, but they don't.
    There are lots of caveats here: we do not want to mess up catalogues,
    we do not want to end up with unnecessary duplication, and we want
    to keep it all as described by various standards. Sander and Jody
    will try to track down the precise list of stylesheets and look at
    whether we need to ship it.

Telsa
