Yes, that's the one. (#62652, is the other one, btw.) It was nothing
personal, this has been going on for a while. #76360 is filed against
the panel and #62652 is filed against sawfish. It can't be of any help
to have reports filed against the wrong component. #62652 should have
either been closed as NOTABUG, been marked as a request for enhancement
with NEEDINFO, or maybe a duplicate of #72594.
#76360 is properly a duplicate of #72594.

Actually, the CORBA method exists. I don't know if it works, but the
status dock just as well might be kept without promise of interoperability.
Gabber and XMMS don't use that though. I can also submit a patch to use
the proposed protocol. I was going to put a patch in bugzilla a week ago,
but I decided not to work on it yet.
It is rather odd that the GNOME Status Dock and KDE System Tray are expected
to interoperate and the panels aren't; they aren't significantly different
from each other. *shrug*
