pkgconfig missing from stables sources dir

Could someone add pkgconfig to:

ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/stable/latest/sources

I added the requirement in:

http://www.gnome.org/start/installing/index.php3

but since it assumes a static base dir it will point into the void until
someone can add the tarball.
