HTML-based GEPs?

Wouldn't it make more sense to store the GEPs in some easy-to-datamine XML
format and then use XSLT to create
	a text version for emails
an HTML version for the Web
a GEP listing for the Web
plus we could have other goodies like looking up all the GEPs that
J. Random Hacker is responsible for, or having separate lists on the Web
for GEPs that are currently being discussed vs those that are already
accepted.
I'm not volunteering for designing the XML format, but I'd happily help
with the XSLTs.
