If we do that, though, I think we'll want to have a distinction between
local bookmarks and remote bookmarks (at least until the difference
between the network and the local machine gets a lot blurrier). I think
the local bookmarks would consist of about half a dozen to maybe a dozen
directories that I often use as part of my normal work day, whereas my
web bookmarks are a snarling mess that gets completely out of control
and has to be purged every six months. :)
