mirroring the ximianized distros ?

hi,

someone pointed me at the newsforge article about this - unfortunately
the site referred to doesn't resolve for me and i have no idea what
javier's email address is.

does anyone know anything more about the uuxi effort and whether
mirrors are still needed ?  i'm contemplating offering one here
in australia, if i can find out more details.
