Well, we feel its the basis for a great services delivery model. Adam has
already released his Python SOAP library separately, so if you're looking
for an easy SOAP library for Python that can actually talk to real servers
like Microsoft's .NET servers check out http://soapy.sourceforge.net/.
As part of the Reef effort we came up with Python bindings for a lot of
stuff (ammonite, some of eel I think, etc) and these will continue to be
useful. I'm also interested perhaps in forking the Reef NautilusView into
some kind of simple way to write Nautilus content views (and Bonobo
components/controls) in Python, but I'm not sure if I'll have time time or
energy to do that.

I think all the people who have hacked on reef would be really excited to
see someone take it forward - and prove to those bastards who didn't fund us
that its possible to make money off services for the free desktop ;-)
