I agree too, that you can't release something which is only valid for the
American market. You give another reason why KDE should exists because it is
coming from outside the USA.
By the way I'm following the gnome-devel list and I was surprised to see popping
up the deadline date for Gnome 1.4 just one week before. The status page on the
web site is very old and the release schedule is broken since last year.
If gnome some coordination effort a minimum of communication is neccessary and
please use e-mail rather than starbuck meetings in Silicon valley. There are
people out there...
By the way how to input some accented characters in gnome when you have a
US keyboard? On windows you can always do ALT+<ASCII CODE> to enter the
character anywhere?
