It used to be, Unix is a trademark of AT&T.
But a French company I worked for, Unixsys, was the first to sel Unix
in France, and owned the trademark there. (Unixsys is not Unisys)
So the trademark had to become
Unix is a trademark of AT&T in the US and other countries
