Sounds good, but you could also argue that bug reports for "unsupported" or
unstable configuratons should also be dumped (perhaps unless the report
originated from a known gnome-hacker).

IMO an automatically generated advisory is a good idea for any bug report for
any unsupported version (whether for an outdated or unstable release), but if
there's an easy way to view and then manually dump bugs for a given version
(or versions), that offers some possibility for a quick review by the
maintainer before dumping the bug reports (on the premise that people are
smarter than programs!)
