MUUUUahahahaha. You are all mine. MINE!

Generally, there are not many bad crashers- this has been a fairly
stable release cycle, gtk issues aside. But there are still a fair
number of fairly embarassing bugs open. I've marked the worst I've seen
as TARGET2.6.0. If you've got others you'd like to see fixed, please
send a mail on this thread, and we can discuss them and hopefully shame
developers into fixing them for the greater glory of the community :)
Generally, though, it's been hard for me to find serious showstoppers.

The TARGET 2.6.0 query is here:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&keywords=TARGET2.6.0&keywords_type=anywords&order=bugs.bug_id
It's short.

high priority 2.4 and 2.5 bugs, what people should focus on for the next
month:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/buglist.cgi?bug_status=NEW&bug_status=ASSIGNED&bug_status=REOPENED&priority=Immediate&priority=Urgent&priority=High&keywords=GNOMEVER2.4%2C+GNOMEVER2.5&keywords_type=anywords
It's long.

The worst of the TARGET2.6.0:

Filesel issues
==============
We want to be consistent across the desktop; we should use the new file
selector everywhere. I mean, we're delaying the release for gtk, let's
use the thing :) There are four open bugs of this sort:

control-center:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128746
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128747
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132902

gnome-media:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129342

Spatial Nautilus Issues
=======================
I've marked these showstoppers because Dave and Alex told me they wanted
to get spatial navigation 'perfect' for 2.6.0. They can always change
their minds. :)

Impossible to get properties of current folder:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=126561

Focus weirdness:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=128211

Docs:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=133372

Serious issues with other apps
==============================

gpdf sometimes displaying very bad text:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=132706

gst-mixer regressing (might be unavoidable, given the gstreamer switch-
media dudes?):
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=131575

note pads causing horrible warning message from gnome-session to come
up:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=134287

Very high visibility panel bug when changing icons:
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=129234

Anyway, I'd urge folks to tackle both of the lists of bugs I posted up
top- TARGET 2.6.0, and high priority bugs. I'm sure many of those that
are high priority are already fixed, but many aren't- we've got some
extra time, let's make this a really ass-kicking, high quality release.

Luis
