Re: 2.2 features: sanity check

Thanks for reminding people Havoc!....we definitely need to get cracking
for GNOME 2.2 [although possibly crack isn't the right term here ;) ].

Just to give a little background from a release team point of view, all
the current members in the release team have been assigned a couple of
modules to look after. In this way we hope to be able to spot any
potential pitfalls with the release as soon as they appear and make
appropriate decisions so that we're not caught out 2 or 3 days before we
decide to make the final 2.2 release.

Of course, that doesn't mean that if you don't own a module that you
can't be a very helpful part of the 2.2 release!

There are tons of things that you can do to help -

	- fixing bugs [there's always lots of these!]
	- helping to implement some of the features that will make
	  it into 2.2
	- documenting some of our cool API's
	- documenting GNOME system administration to get it into our new
	  System Administration Guide
	- triaging our current bugs in bugzilla

and plenty, plenty more that I have forgotten about.

We've made such an amazing leap from GNOME 1.4 and we should definitely
try and keep the momentum.

			Let's get diggy with it.

				Much love [1]

[1] I think it's the sugar or something :/
