Yeah, the general guide I've been going by is:

  - messy temp copies
  - machine-generated logs
  - code now/always maintained elsewhere (audiofile, etc)
  - request for deletion from maintainers

Plus, making sure everything is mentioned publically on this thread.

Yeah. Unfortunately, it will be a not-so-insignificant amount of work to
upgrade canvas, but that's (slightly, with a bit of discomfort) orthogonal
to adding drives in the mean time.
