Just as inappropriate as a European show would be for Americans.

Americans would be unwise to visit countries that won't respect their
rights to privacy, freedom of political speech, and personal protection.

Best is just to abandon the idea that in-person meetings are appropriate
for decision making in international internet-connected projects.
