I saw that too.  I think one of the strengths the KDE development
community has is coordination, combined efforts, and integration.
With GNOME 2 we have a great opportunity (as the platform has many
improvements) to provide a better desktop experience and port current
GNOME 1.x applications to a better integrated GNOME 2 platform.
Beyond simply porting, however, what user visible enhancements will go
into GNOME 2?

AFAIK no such document exists.  I'd love to see someone correct me.
If one doesn't exist can we hash one out?
