federico, the art_svp_uncross() bug i mailed you about earlier is aparently
triggered by this code. after reading:

2001-02-11  Rusty Conover  <rconover zootweb com>

        * gnome-canvas-rect-ellipse.c (gnome_canvas_rect_update): Added
        fix for proper stroking of the rectangle's outlines.  Thre
        previous implementation was broken when the canvas's pixels per
        unit != 1.0

        * gnome-canvas-line.c (gnome_canvas_line_set_arg): Added fix for
        when the color of a line changes the SVP's of teh arrowheads also
        change color.  They didn't change color before.

i updated:

cvs update -r gnome-libs-1-0 -D "20010210" gnome-canvas-rect-ellipse.c gnome-canvas-line.c

with those versions, the art_svp_uncross() hang is not triggered anymore.
