Platform Beta Release This Week

Hi all,

It's platform beta time again; please release tarballs to earthquake and
notify the release team: <gnome2-release-team gnome org>.

Please note that the purpose of this release is to have fully API frozen
packages available to the community at large. It would be ideal to release
with all known bugfixes, but API frozen packages in a known state are more
important at this time.

Packages *requiring* API frozen releases for this beta:

  libgnome(ui), libzvt, libgnomeprint(ui), libgnome-canvas, libglade,
  libbonobo

We'll begin a test and release cycle of the available packages on Wednesday.
