Well written -- somehow you're right :)

I'm running some applications... without touching the mouse; that's
always interesting, too (ask Telsa).

Run GNOME on yesterdays notebook (800x600).

Run it using a language more wordy than US english (german or french)
and watch out where space is missing and where ugly centering is in use
(I'm told "centering" is GTK's default behavior).
