gnome-libs with latest glib/gtk+

Hi,

you wanted to let you know that I currently have a bunch
of changes in my local tree which make gnome-libs work
again with the latest glib/gtk+, do some gparam stuff etc.

Since there's some X-mas party at the university this evening
I don't know whether I can get all of this into CVS before
tomorrow afternoon ...
