I don't like the idea of additional verbs, unless they are popups of
some form ... (not over menu items). It would be nice to have the "?" arrow
that some Windows applications had -- where the user can click an arrow
with a ? on it, and then click a menu item, etc. to receive help about that
item.
I honestly have to say that I do like the way current MS systems handle
help. The cursor changes when over an item with help associated and if
you right click on it, you get a popup, like a tooltip, but with a
little more substance. You can do this on radio buttons, checkboxes,
combo boxes, anything.
