Not being an Enlightenment user, I've only got the screenshot to go by,
but the question that springs to mind is "How are you supposed to know
what application the pull-tab represents without pulling it out to have
a look?"  It doesn't seem to be obvious from the screenshot.


Not sure if there is a way (due to vertically rendering text) I've never seen a theme that does. (hmm . . . altho, I have seen themes that do have vertically rendered text, so I don't see why it couldn't be applied to that border style as well. Maybe nobody has thought of it?)

That wasn't the point tho, I'm not recommending that everybody jump back to E, especially after so much work has been done to integrate Sawmill/fish so well. What I was saying was that there is a real life and readily available example here. Instead of just theorizing and doing mock ups, try it out yourself and see how you like it. It works very well for me.
