I completely agree. This would make the control-center feel a bit more
"integrated", too.

PS: Even better would be a list of applets with changes which allow the user
to check which ones he wants to commit (and which ones he doesn't).

I've always been frusterated by the warning one gets wafter making changes
in the control center and then closing the control center. The warning
forces the user to either discard all changes or cancel and go back and
hit OK for each capplet they changed.  It woul dbe very nice if there were
a third button that was ``accept all changes.''
