About to revise--get your comments in

I'm about to revise all the proposals on www.best.com/~effugas, to address
the concerns that have been emailed to me thus far.  Any comments may be
quotes unless you explicitly request not to be.

(BTW--yes, I didn't mention this at first, so *all* people who sent me a
response will be recieving an email asking if it's OK to directly quote
'em.)

I will make the updated proposals available in a temporary area for
evaluation by gnome-gui and the gnome developers before going public with
them.  Look folks, Dan can learn :-)
