Record Button?

Should every window have a record button, right up there next to minimize
and maximize?  There are two types of recording, of course:  Macro
recording, and visual recording.  From what I can see of XLab, both are
supported.

I can see a number of uses for this:

1)  Macros For The Masses.  This is a Good Thing!
2)  MUCH easier tech support.  "Hi, I was using your application and it
crashed.  Here, watch what I did to make that happen."

VCR's have record buttons, so that's a Real World(what's that?) link.

Only think I can't figure out would be how to visually separate record macro
from record screenplay.  Maybe two buttons, one with a red dot and a camera,
the other with a red dot and a set of footprints.

Weirdest thing, went out tonight and my brain just kept on popping up with
GNOME stuff...
