Programming guides

There's an open bug for one of the Programming Guides
(Bug 108044).

I see on the gnome web page that we have quite a few
different guides.
http://developer.gnome.org/doc/guides/

Where do these live in CVS?
Do they have bugzilla components?
Are all of these still relevant?

... and of course the eternal question: how can the
web versions of these be kept updated?
