network settings

I have gnome-system-tools 1.2.0-0ubuntu6 and the help instructions seem
to be wrong. The main window for Network Settings in the instructions is
different from my window in several ways. eg on the Connections tab I do
not have the Network Profiles button.
Is there a correct set of instructions somewhere? Or perhaps Ubuntu are
not providing the correct match of package with Help?
