Creating a Free Gtk programming Book

Hello Friend!
Is there any really free* guide
for Gtk programming in C?

* free as in FDL'ed or GPL'ed.

Can we afford to start one ?
I dream of programming in GNOME,Gtk
with perfect docs something coprehensive
total and more ways like the man pages of
the GNU system.  Gtk must be hassle free
and that can be ensured given good books
and docs.
