gtcd auto play

Greetings,
I'm trying to do some mass ripping and gtcd pops up everytime I throw a
cd in. I'm running a new install of RH 7.3 with the latest gnome
desktop. For now I'm just renaming the executable. What would be the
proper way of preventing gtcd from coming up automatically?
Geez, I hope this isn't some point and click question.
