GDP thanks

Folks -

With the release of GNOME2 upon us, I wanted to share some thanks. There
are a number of hackers who have given us special help in getting the
GNOME2 help system together - Jonathan Blandford, Kevin Vandersloot and
Daniel Veillard come to mind.

But two people in particular have given us extraordinary help above and
beyond the call of duty.

Mikael Hallendal gave us a very cool new help browser. He took an idle
suggestion that something along the lines of DevHelp might be nice, and
stuck with it long after the scope of the problem grew well beyond what
he had originally bargained for. In the process, he ended up thinking
through and helping to solve a lot of the underlying help system issues.

Sander Vesik emerged from a phone booth late in the game, wearing a cape
with a big "S" on it and catching bullets in his teeth as he solved a
mess of problems, from the creation of working XSLT stylesheets for the
help docs to the thorny problem of how to integrate the users guide. Now
he's on to caching....

Thanks, guys.
John
