new users guide

I have put a new users guide update into CVS today. [module
/desktop-docs]. I will be making an "official release of 1.06 very
soon so start translating if you want to keep up with this
version. Back by popular demand, I have added to diff files to help
you with the changes. There is more info in the Changelog as well.

Let me know if you see any problems.
