Translation of the Gnome Users Guide into French

I'm a French student in Computer Science, running Linux on my personal
computers and on several servers I am in charge of.

I would like to contribute to the Gnome Users Guide Project by
translating the guide into French. Are you interested in this
translation ? Have you heard of other people working on it ? If so, can
you help me to get in touch with them ?
