Hi folks!
A week ago or so I took upon me the burden of reformatting the gnome-mime and
gnome-mime-info API documentation. Now since this is the first time I'm doing
documentation for Gnome-related stuff, I've got a few questions. I've already
looked through developer.gnome.org, and I've downloaded the gtk-doc package,
but some things still remain unclear to me:
* AFAIK, I have to edit the files in the tmpl/ subdir. That correct?
* How do I regenerate the docs from scratch? I haven't found anything on this
on developer.gnome.org. I you guys think, it'll be a good idea to have a HOWTO
or something (so that non-developers could assisst in writing API docs) I'll
volunteer to write one.
* When I'm finished, how do I commit my changes? via CVS or do I send them to
the maintainer?
I've also been reading through gnome-mime(-info), but I'm not (yet) quite sure
what needs to be rewritten. Can anybody lighten me up on this and offer some
suggestions (I know that I should have a look at GTK's style-guide) so that I
can finally start writing, since I've been down and out this week, after
catching some nice little virus (no, not a computer virus ;)...
Thanx,
Konrad
