Gnome intro

Hello Gnome Doc People,

I would like to contribute some documentation
to the Gnome project.

I am not familiar with the libraries, so it
was suggested that I work on updating the
introduction to Gnome.

So,

1. Is anyone currently working on updating
   the Gnome intro?

2. Would anyone like to work on it?

3. Any suggestions for what should go in an
   updated intro, how it should look, etc.?
